Media

“A jam-packed 90-minute ghost story.” – San Diego Union-Tribune

“A thoughtful and mostly understated reflection on what’s left behind after death, and on that thin line existing between this world and the next.” – Stage West

“Like Exotic Deadly, Empty Ride is a play with supernatural elements about a flawed but lovable young woman of Japanese descent struggling to find her own identity as well as her place in the wider world.” – San Diego Union-Tribune

“A story at first simple but quickly vast and searching, Empty Ride is further demonstration of the prodigious Green’s imagination and perceptiveness. It’s also quite a ride.” – Stage West

“I really admire the direct, quietly poetic – but not sentimental – way in which Keiko writes this story… The play deals with immense tragedy but also has a sly, spiky humor, and I really identify with that balance.” – Actor Michele Selene Ang in an interview with BroadwayWorld
